Lead roofs are a very hard roof to better, lead is one of the oldest and most durable roofing materials and has been around for hundreds of years with very little need for change. If laid correctly and the correct Code (thickness ) it can last anything up to 50 or 100 years without replacement and has been known to last for over 200 years.
